Kirtan Meditation - 08-17-2025
We gathered for Project Dhiya’s Kirtan Meditation event, where music and quiet reflection met in a grounded, welcoming space. The evening flowed through simple chants, pauses for stillness, and open moments of sharing. Some spoke about what mantra practice means in their daily lives, while others simply listened and joined the rhythm. It was a calm, thoughtful gathering that left everyone a little lighter, more centered, and connected.

Literary Salon Social - 06-29-2025
We hosted a cozy evening in Berkeley for the Spiritual Literary Salon, where stories, poetry, and reflections took center stage. Everyone brought something from the heart whether it was a favorite quote, a piece they wrote, or just thoughts sparked in the moment. We sat in a circle, shared words that moved us, and opened up deep conversations about life, purpose, and spirit. It was part open mic, part soul circle and all heart.
Spiritual Art Social - 1-26-2025
We came together in SF for an afternoon of art, good vibes, and meaningful connection. At Project Dhiya’s Spiritual Art Social, everyone got to slow down, tap into their creative side, and reflect on what’s going on inside — all while painting, sketching, journaling, or just hanging out. No pressure, no rules — just a space to be real, express yourself, and feel supported by the community.
Ayurhealthy Social - 08-17-2025
We gathered for Project Dhiya’s Ayurhealthy event in collaboration with ASAN, creating a warm and nourishing space for community and connection. The evening blended simple Ayurvedic wisdom with heartful sharing as people brought reflections on food, lifestyle, and balance, while others offered personal stories, favorite practices, or just insights sparked in the moment. We sat together, exchanged ideas about living in harmony with body and spirit, and opened deep conversations on health, culture, and purpose. It was part workshop, part soul circle, and all heart.
Ayurhealthy Cooking Workshop – 02-08-2026
We gathered for Project Dhiya’s Ayurhealthy Cooking Workshop, where food, conversation, and learning came together in a warm and collaborative space. The morning began with introductions and a short overview of Ayurvedic principles, setting the tone for a relaxed and interactive experience.
Participants then worked in small groups to prepare an Ayurvedic-inspired pesto pasta, learning how simple ingredients and mindful cooking can support balance and digestion. As the kitchen filled with conversation and shared effort, the experience became as much about connection as it was about cooking.
After preparing the meal together, everyone sat down to enjoy lunch, continuing conversations about food, wellness, and everyday practices that support a healthier lifestyle. The gathering closed with a few reflections and an invitation to stay connected for future Project Dhiya events.
It was a relaxed, nourishing afternoon that brought people together through food, learning, and community.
Project Dhiya is an organization that organizes events in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
Our events are spiritual in nature, but probably not what most people would think of when they hear the words “spiritual event”. To us, spirituality is an embodied practice that deeply connects us to the fabric of life.
